nytimes.com website got hacked today along with Twitter Tuesday August 28th 2013

It’s only been a few weeks and they got hacked again since the last time. Was it because nytimes.com web server really that weak? not so secure? Previously I know a website in Vietnam also a news media website www.tuoitre.com.vn I believe also got hacked taken down by hackers. Mostly it’s a denial service attack so call DDOS it’s basically a cheap way to hack but very effective. I don’t recall any companies can endure DDOS depend on the level of DDOS, could be thousands ping or millions pings and billions, so it’s not something easily mitigate, will take time and definitely the victim will feel the impact.

This also happened to twitter at the same time, and the group claim to be the syrian amy
