After being on ebay for almost a year selling stuff, mostly electronics. I received a newsletter from ebay and I did some analysis and found out that I’ve been paying a ton of money on fees that I don’t believe profit anything. For example if I sell $100 item, ebay fee is $10, and paypal fee is about $4, and shipping fee for the item also, my cost for the item probably greater than $60, that’s not profit, this sucks!

So again I did the analysis and my volume is worth it to subscribed to ebay store paying a fee of $16 a month, yearly subscription that is. I think it’s worth for me because I mostly sell computers electronic stuff and the fee will be 4% or so with ebay store subscription. As what I’m seeing paying monthly fee at ebay store scared me, $200 a month sometime, that’s nuts!.

Anyhow I subscribed to it, since I have a little experience with ebay now, I think I make a little bit of money for kids toys LOL. It’s good because I never really need to leave my house as I purchased stuff low and sell them high, and use cheap USPS, and probably will be upgrade to UPS soon. Will see though, I had past experience where shipping went wrong, items shipped went wrong, but was able to comply with ebay policy and managed to make customer happy and fixed problems.
