Earlier this morning KnCMiner released news letter indicating that it has releases the 20nm chip for Bitcoin mining, and will be shipping soon (Q1/Q2 2014 Fiscal calenday) this mean that it could be shipping within a month or two. This surely will be killing other Bitcoin manufacturer such as BFL Butterfly Labs famous for its broken promises, indicating 2 months delay but in the end the delay was almost a year. With Butterfly Labs, BFL, let say you order the 600 GH/s today it said that you will get it 2-3 months, but that will not be true, history repeat itself, most likely you will get it in 6 months to a year, and by that time, most likely you will be making pennies. Other manufacturers such as FastHash and Cointerra are new hard to say if they’re real and will be able to compete. Avalon is an oln manufacturer but been quiet.

With KnCMiner, the 3000GH/s 20nm chip, could mine higher than 3000GH/s, that’s the minimum for now. KnCMiner was in the news, they’re millionaire and so no doubt they can do it again. KnCMiner delivery time commitment is a lot better than BFL, delayed by several weeks the most versus many months delayed by Butterfly Labs BFL. However the price of that Neptune 3000GH/s isn’t cheap, staggering $12K $13K but I’m sure it will be worth it. Already a lot of group buy and will get sold out soon. Group buy is put together by some people trusted each other in a forum, with everyone pitching in and with simple math everyone get equal share, that is a great idea, since $12 $13k is a lot of money to spend.

Butterfly labs BFL better do something about their previous history on making broken promises, the delayed estimated by BFL way off. Hopefully BFL will do something about it and have better estimate than 6 months to a year. With correct estimate should bring BFL back on track and can beat the competitors, however everyone now gear toward another Bitcoin Miner mnaufacturer instead of BFL.
