My daughter in second grade, she can read very good, more than what the school recommend or requires, but she has reading comprehension problem, although my last meeting with the teacher, she said nothing to worry about, but I am worrying that she might be like me, I’m actually worst than her I think when I was her age, I hate reading and when it come to comprehension what I read, I’m like at a lost :), so to improves reading comprehension for 2nd grade student, I have found the following sites that have free worksheets you can print and have your child use to improves her reading comprehension skills. I don’t think it’s a good idea to push your child to be what you want them to be, but to help and provide guidance, although pushing and force methods may work and necessary but know the limit and control the temper.
