Vietnam country side the Un-Forgotten backyard creek with water constantly flowing

Back in the 1980s and prior to that. Fish and shrimps are plentiful as the water constantly moving, we get hid tide, low tide and so on. The fish and shrimps constantly moving, plentiful at the time, but now all gone. Even this picture below portrait the backyard of one family next to the creek have a fish net, a big one actually, that they use to capture the fish and shrimps. However today in country side like this, I don’t think that this kind of house still even exist today, let alone the old ancient net fishing methods as shown, but maybe a few left just for show or for tourist, I doubt they catch anything. Why? Because the fish and shrimps from the creek had died or due to over fishing from the main water way connect to the mekong delta in southern vietnam. For those “Cu Lao” water get into those small backyard creek and to the farm land, people are about their crops than the fishes and shrimps so as a result pesticite were being use to protect the rice fields and other vegetables including tropical fruits trees but those pesticite impacted the fish and shrimps or whatever in the water. So this kind of image below soon will be just an image, reality had gone away.
