I believe the reason BFL have this sales is because no one buy their equipment anymore and they have too much in stock, and even if they mine bitcoin with it, they yield little profit. Another reason is too many, too much competition for them now, many new Bitcoin Miner manufacturers now have Terahash speed with the same price as their 230 GH/s or smaller, so why would experience Bitcoin miner buy from Butterfly Lab? so that is the problem. Remember if you buy from BFL, there is no such thing as refund, if the equipment is broken, they will fix it, but absolutely no refund. I got the 600 GH/S preorder during thanksgiving for $3500, now if I buy it now it’s only $2100, however also keep in mind of the order # they ship by priority of the order placed, so it does make sense. So if people order today, they will not get it months later after you got yours if your order was a month or so ago.
