Does Ethernet Powerline use any electricity to add to your electric bill?

Quick answer: NO

I was searching for the answer to this question online, but I can’t seem to find any site that would give me a straight answer,  forcing me to read numerous articles to find out if those device will add money to my electric bill, the answer is NO, it doesn’t, the only electricity would be those blinking LED and small circuitry working all the time, but bottom line 99 cent a year to your electric bill, which is essentially nothing 🙂 so there you go. The device could be pretty expensive, sometime $50 each as average price, but it’s beneficial since you don’t have to drill holes or require anything, simply plug in the router plug 1, and plu g 2 plug into your computer RJ45 and you’re good to go 🙂
