If you get this error message when importing files data from text format or something similar and get this error message “the search key was not found in any record” The quick fix is to “compact and repair your database” you can find this feature in the Database Tools. Just click on repair and compact, and you should be good to go.

However if you encounter problem, and most likely error, your database is corrupted beyond repairable 🙂 sadly, that’s what it mean, you would have to build it again, however some tables might still be good, but you would have to export it out or copy and paste it into a new ms access db.
