Yesterday was on the news in regard to rip current and its danger. I read the story, to summarize, basically 3 people got pulled out to the ocean, 2 died 1 survive. The cause was due to a rip current, a ocean wave current that basically pull you out to the ocean and no you cannot swim back no matte how strong of a swimmer are you. However there are ways you can survive it. Basically stay calm, take it easy, stay float, let the current pull you out off course you will may get frighten but it’s fine, if you can stay float, after it pulled you out, swim parallel to the shore and once you feel you’re out of the rip current then you can swim back to shore, the ocean wave will help you push you back in. To prevent this all, just don’t swim when no life guard are around.
