So what’s the latest news? It’s been confirmed over $350 Million dollars (USD) worth of Bitcoin disappeared at MtGOX or in MtGOX platform. Was it hacked? Stolen? or truly a technical issue which can be resolve and recover the missing Bitcoin? We don’t know. All we know is that it’s been confirmed over $350 Million dollars worth of Bitcoin disappeared from MGOX trading platform.
Since MtGOX Bitcoin isn’t regulated, they will not be holding accountable and will not be required to pay you back any Bitcoin disappeared. This is similar to that one exchange website of Bitcoin thousands Bitcoin was hacked and stolen. MtGOX however on the other not confirming being hacked, hackers stole Bitcoin. It’s not been confirmed, maybe MtGOX just lost it with a technical issue it got deleted or whatever reason.
