30 thang tu April 30th 1975 2012 so long ago so sad for the Vietnamese and US soldiers

Many Vietnamese remember today as 30 Thang Tu, April 30th. Back in 1975 the communist north Vietnam took over the South and Vietnam is one country under the communist regime as many call it. If I remember correctly, US could have won the war easily, but there wasn’t any benefit, and too many protest back home, it make sense for the USA to withdraw, but the people whom were with the US side should have gotten better understanding that the north Vietnamese not going to butcher them all, well some did get killed or went to re-education camp, it was a complex war and complex decision. To me as a result of this made many Vietnamese in the US has better lives than the Vietnamese back home. It’s been too long ago, some enemies North and South became friends, what war? it was the past! people killed each other, each sides has lost and casulty. I wasn’t born yet back in 1975, but I can understand how the South Vietnamese feel, when the North took over Vietnam, Vietnam was worst than ever, people are starving, death and so on, thanks to good heart American, they came back and help, further more that’s how I’m in the US today writing this blog. War is never good, however bad things happens for good things to come and I truly believe that, it make life more interesting. Vietnam had become a better country and have some kind of relationship with the USA. Forgive me if I make no sense blogging this because I wasn’t born yet and haven’t experience it, so I write what I know and seen and heard.
