Just in case you don’t know or has known the issue with mtgox for a few months now. We’re talking about over 3 months request for wire transfer out of mtgox but all failed, support takes days to respond back to you with a generic answer that they have large backlog it will take over 2 weeks to complete, however that two weeks came and gone, and then come and gone, 2 weeks, then 2 months, still nothing, no one get money out of mtgox successfully for over 3 months, and this is specifically to the cash withdrawal through wire transfer and yes especially United States folks.

Is your money gone? Quick answer is NO, it’s simply in limbo to whatever legitimate reason they can come up with. Bottom line, no one reported any successful wire transfer out of MtGox in the USA. So think twice before you sell your Bitcoin at MtGOx, you can buy BTC and sell BTC pretty fast and very high value, but good luck with transfer out via wire transfer. So what’s the alternative? Some people even think that MtGOX might disappear with all the money, that would be scary! MtGOX was shut down by the USA months ago, so now they only based in Japan, but do support wire transfer to the USA. Dwolla and OKpay was also got suspended for related activities with BitCoin and now they no longer can accept transactions in or out of Bitcoin.
