So I purchased a Power Bright brand 1100 Watts Power inverter, it has surge of 2000 watts. It cost me $80 from home depot purchased it with the $199 Power generator so I can get the 6 months no interest if paid minimum and in full by 5-6 months. Open the box, briefly goes through the user guide, didn’t pay much attention to areas where I don’t need to. I got a marine dual purpose battery from Advance Auto parts, it’s a 65 lbs big battery, I measured the voltage and it’s 13volts, I’m assuming it has energy on it. So I plug negative and positive terminal correctly to the inverter and try to power up my i7 computer desktop just the case, 450 watts, right away I noticed a buzzing noise even when the computer not even on and it’s coming from the computer power supply, so I kind of ignore it and turned on the computer and it work but the buzzing noise get louder but it’s not really really bad and distracting, just annoying. So I reviewed the guide book and it indicated some less expensive or inexpensive power supply might make buzzing noise, but it’s not a problem, it’s just that it’s cheap LOL, they recommend to get an expensive power supply lol. So the computer i7 work fine, so I test the TV, same thing it make a buzzing noise on the TV power supply I’m sure, and it does get louder when the TV is on, just annoying but it work 🙂 That’s what important. I plan to use this as backup power powering TV or other necessity devices around the house, the generator I bought will run the refrigerator and charge my batter backup system working simultaneously powering my 3 servers and 2 Fios line. Pretty soon I will have one fios line, so no problem, so I’m ready for power outage 🙂 not that I like, it’s just to prepare 🙂
