Sears good gesture toward people whom got impacted by hurricane sandy $10 and truck load of supplies to help victim. I think this is very good that Sears does this, a thumb up for sears in this. Although I have one bad experience with sears was when I order online for an item that I have to drive 45 mins to pick up and at pick up my daughters waited in the car for 30mins and I wait in the pick up for 30mins and they said they could not find the item, and I contacted their office customer service but no one responded, in the end I requested a refund through paypal and they finally refunded, sears have bad system in online order to pickup, it almost seems like the system automatically said ready for pick up but the item was never picked or the guy in pickup area lie they didn’t even go pick up the item from the shelf for me but giving lame excuse, stay away from sears order online and pickup especially sears in exton mall square in exton PA, those people work in the sears pick up are the worst people you will ever encounter, be careful with them, don’t give them tips they don’t deserve it.

Updated 11/13/2012: Here’s any update, Sears will be closing over 120 stores nationwide http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/12/28/us-sears-sales-idUSTRE7BQ0AV20111228 To me their pick up merchandise especially the one in Exton Mall are terrible, they said my item ready for pick up went there and was not found, and they don’t even offer me any discount at all, shame on you Sears at Exton Mall Square PA, so this what you get, you don’t even refund my money correctly, I have to file complaint with my credit card company and your Sears support never returned my call on the complaint, you don’t care about your customer, you could also racist employee at the Exton Mall Square sears pick up area department.

Dear ,

In the wake of Superstorm Sandy, I want to extend a hand during this difficult time on behalf of Sears Holdings Corporation.

In addition to the 100+ truckloads of supplies we are sending to the communities impacted by Sandy, we have added $10 in free Points to your SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDSSM account. Please use them toward whatever supplies you need from Sears and Kmart through November 8. It’s a small gesture to help our SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDSSM Members.
